Anyone who knows Oshi knows they’re in for a treat when this kid gets to work. Last month, at the age of 17, Oshi became the youngest to ever play a Boiler Room set, alongside a lineup that included Action Bronson, Complexion, and more. Heralded by Boiler Room as a “beat whizz-kid,” Oshi took full advantage of the opportunity at hand, playing a stellar set that included plenty of his own work, remixes and originals alike, as well as tracks from Mr. Carmack, Djemba Djemba, SOPHIE, and more.
Aside from the dance music space, Oshi is also making moves in the hip-hop scene, recently linking up with rising hip-hop artist KYLE (aka SuperDuperKyle). “The Force” is a Star Wars-themed single off Kyle’s debut album SMYLE and it brings too many feels to count. The 17 year old London-based producer kills it, per usual, on the coproduction for this track. The track, produced alongside M-Phazes and Sunny Norway, is smooth as butter and slides on that slight turn up. Oshi’s been killing it overall, tbh. This kid is the youngest producer to ever perform a Boiler Room. That’s saying something.
Stream his Boiler Room set and his co-produced track for KYLE below. Enjoy 🙂
