In early October, Kendrick Lamar took to Instagram to announce ‘The 1st annual Kunta’s Groove Sessions’ tour amidst his already busy Fall touring schedule.

The excitement began to rise when he described the tour as, “8 cities, 8 nights, 8 intimate shows.” After a busy Summer that featured Kendrick Lamar owning main stages all over the festival circuit, it will be an absolute treat to be able to catch what some could argue is one of the best rappers and lyricists performing today.

Just one day after performing in the massive United Center in Chicago, Kendrick Lamar has officially been announced to be coming back to chicago less than two weeks later when he will be bringing the ‘Kunta’s Groove Sessions’ tour to Concord Music Hall. The performance will feature Kendrick’s band, The Wesley Theory along with labelmate Jay Rock.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 30th at 10 AM CST. Don’t sleep, because this sub 1500 person venue will be sure to sell out. Who knows when you’ll be able to see an artist of this caliber perform on such a small stage again.
