Popularized by Carnage, festival trap is a sub genre of trap that combines the big room/arena sound with the 808’s every trap fiend loves. Today, possibly the most notable song from this summer’s festival circuit, ‘Animals’ by Martin Garrix received a massive festival trap remix from Victor Niglio and young producer Martin Garrix, himself. The build up has been left mostly untouched, with the exception of added hi-hats and drums, before Garrix and Niglio take the ‘Animals’ drop to a whole new level. With the catchy melodic drop and big bass, this one is sure to be on repeat for the time being.
