Is there anything in the music world more important than this collaborative effort between famed Canadian YouTube sensation Justin Bieber and the undisputed conqueror of dubstep, Skrillex? Probably, but fans can’t seem to get enough of even previews of the track Sorry with famous Vine star King Beach using a sample of the track as the punchline in his latest and arguably biggest video featuring none other than first lady Michelle Obama. Sure, it’s only a second to say “sorry” but considering the important role music plays in King Beach’s videos and the countless other tracks that could have been used for the sample, it does speak to inherent hype behind the collab… after all, here we are!
The track will be out on Bieber’s next album entitled Purpose to be released on October 25th (oh boy… Purpose? Sorry? Is this going to be a 12-step album hoping the American public will forgive and forget? No one ever went broke…) Stream the vine below and check out the black and white teaser with featuring Justin and Sonny in an acoustic asking the important questions…
Is it too late now to say “sorry?” –cuz I’m

Dear readers, he’s a 5’9” white-boy with chest tattoos and he sings with more melisma than a 15 year old African American girl trying out for American Idol… I get that we made him famous because his youtube numbers were good and because the industry was desperate to catch up with the internet but… does anybody actually like his music? I mean any of it, honestly? There wasn’t anything particularly unique about the vocals in his previous collab with Jack Ü… are you guys going to listen through an entire 19 tracks Justin Bieber? (and one of the tracks is Where Are Ü Now… which.. was released… already…. wasn’t it?).
Let us know how you feel! I usually like to reserve judgment until I’ve gotten a chance to listen but I’m feeling pretty confident that this is just going to be a lot of pitch-corrected, whiney garbage from a person who, frankly, has faced only self-imposed hardships and has known nothing but privilege and unearned respect. Hey, maybe I’m wrong! but what are the odds?

The reality is that he can actually sing and people hate him because he's arrogant, and the other reality is that the majority of people would act almost exactly the same as he has if they were suddenly endowed with such wealth as a result of their actual talent.
We all would love to romanticisize how amazing we would be if we were him, but the chances are that we'd all be as much of a jerk as he is.
