The Buygore name carries with it a multitude of connotations. With Borgore at its helm the label guaranteed, at the very least, to keep things interesting from its inception. That they have, rooted in absurdity and boasting a roster of top notch trolls whose careers exploded as members of the Buygore family. An odd and eclectic bunch of individuals whose epic ridiculousness is matched in proportion to the shared qualities of love, loyalty, unmatched talent, and astounding work ethic are no laughing matter.
But Buygore Records has built a reputation on not even taking themselves too seriously. Blurred lines between work and play have made business and pleasure synonymous at Buygore. Very little has changed about who they are or the music they release. We are still genuinely turning up to their arsenal of beat knocking bangers, but only Buygore delivers an authentic party with every new track. Newness is not a concept lost on Buygore Records as they still manage to deliver countless trap bangers and discover untapped talent proving that things equally change and stay the same.
Buygore is constantly awakening the tired trap with tracks that add to an arsenal of massive sound. The up and coming producers of these tracks consider themselves fortunate to be considered new additions to this all star family. Bailo Beatz and AMF join those ranks. Their latest collaboration was picked up by Buygore, and is itself a testament to the level of camaraderie committed to the making this track, and ultimately embodies the philosophy at the foundation of the label it calls home. With the most appropriate of titles, ‘CLIQUE’ samples the vocal stating that nobody is f*cks with it, a sentiment given new and specific meaning in the crisply finished production of this track. Heavy bass and these duhs that drop in chops, cutting through the monotony of the same old trap song to create a track that redefines the tenets of the trap, but does so in a way that reminds us where we came from and what it took to get here. OG feels from the newest gangsters on the Buygore block with a freshness ain’t nobody f*ckin’ wit, ‘CLIQUE’ gets up in your face and lets you know that Bailo Beatz and AMF run the trap right.
Bailo Beatz is real AF, and so is his music. I caught up with the newest face in the trap and recent addition to the Buygore family over the weekend, so as to give this release the most proper of introductions. Read on, and peep the homie’s music.

Tell us about the process of production on this track. How did the project begin in its earliest stages, and develop into this monster release?
Well, I was hanging out at my boy K.LO’s house smoking hookah and bumping some new tracks, and my boy AK Trax (1/2 of AMF) hit me up about a track that he wanted to collab on. So he sent me the private link, and I was blown away. I heard the crazy potential it had. He sent me a breakdown and first drop, and I created the second drop. When the song finished we knew we had a hit on our hands, and all we could think about was that it needed to be shown on a big platform.
How did you get hooked up with AMF out of Seattle when you are NYC (and Philly) based?
I have had a numerous releases on Plenum Records and AMF was a new duo out of Seattle and released a song called ‘Freakshow’ which i thought was amazing. So I reached out to them to let them know I loved the track and hoped for a future collab with them.
Where and when did Buygore enter the picture? What was your experience like with the Buygore Family?
OK, so when we finished the song I had visions of possible labels to send this record to. I never sent a track to Buygore as I don’t like to send tracks that are not ready to big labels. But I had such a good feeling about this track. I knew I had to send it over to them. So I sent it over to Nappy from Buygore and he loved it. Once we got the approval and everything, we had a date set and artwork done immediately. My experience with Buygore has been an amazing one. They really know how to treat their artists, and one thing I can say is this will not be the last time i release a track with them 😉
You have been very open and emotional about releasing this track on social media, and I know personally what an exciting milestone this is for you. How does it feel to be you right now? Like your dreams are coming true?
It feels great to be me. We as musicians have that one goal of releasing a single on a major label and to be able to say I have a released on Buygore is a dream come true. To be told by my supporters and other talent that this release is one I rightfully deserve, makes me very emotional at times, because they all know what I go through and how badly I want this as my full time career. So this is just the beginning for me.
What obstacles have you faced coming up in the industry, and how do you overcome them? What challenges do you see ahead of you on this journey?
I come from New York City, the hardest city to make it in music. If you are not pulling in numbers or getting a local fan base then you have to figure out another option. In December I had 50 followers on my soundcloud. I then made an official remix for the homies FIGHT CLVB, which was noticed by Trap Sounds. That is what really got me started. Trap Sounds saw something in me no one else had, which gave me the confidence to keep going. So I kept putting out record after record, and watched as I began getting fans all over the country as well as outside the country. To be honest, it’s the greatest feeling in the world to get your music heard in places you never would’ve thought would hear it. As long as you don’t give up and have the mentality that dreams can come true, then it can happen. One challenge for me is continuing to excel in my production. Just like any other producer, we learn something new everyday so I just want to continue getting better and giving my fans and supporters a reason to keep supporting me.
What do you say to those that say trap is dead?
That’s a line they are gonna regret saying. Little do they know that most of the upcoming producers/DJ’s (including myself) are coming up as trap artists. Trap will never die as long as Bailo Beatz is in it. So the minute they walk away from trap they will quickly come right back.
There is a lot of generic trap music out there, and there are a lot of copycats and posers. How are you different from all the other aspiring DJ/Producers out there?
I think that what makes me different is that I have a very high energy style. I like making very straight-forward, hard songs. Even my twerk songs have their own type of energy that isn’t like many of the 100 bpm tracks out there, and that makes what I do very different. Also, the simple fact that with every song I release people can feel my emotions, see the potential and the love that I put into every song. I’ve created a huge buzz for myself, and when people hear a song of mine they know it’s a Bailo Beatz record.
Can you tell us what is next for Bailo Beatz?
Only time will tell. I have a few major releases coming soon on very big labels. I also want to start a tour around the US. I’m also working on a side project with the homie AK Trax. We are a duo going by the name “8 O H 8” and we have some crazy tunes coming out very soon.
Anything else to add?
Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t do what you love as a career. Music is the greatest story to tell because you will always have a rough beginning, and the come up is what makes you the artist that you are. As long as you stay humble and work very hard, nothing is impossible. For me, I don’t have a backup. Music is the only thing I have right now. No, I’m not making the money that I deserve, but i know that will come. So for now I will stay struggling, but continue to do what I love. I hope these words are inspiring for any producers coming up.
