Skrillex and Deadmau5 to Headline Reaction NYE in Chicago w/ Star Studded Lineup

As festival season comes to a close, and the Halloween shows and festies have been posted up and planned, we look to New Year’s Eve for the next round of announcements of massive, FOMO causing events to knock off our socks.

Undoubtedly, one of the biggest NYE shows of 2014 was Jack Ü headlining Madison Square Garden in New York City. They tore up that arena something fierce and brought in a 2015 ringing with bass and beautiful noises, and have been tearing up the world ever since. Skrillex and Diplo are such an incredible team, and who wouldn’t want to spend their New Years with these kings of dance music?

The world’s most super supergroup is taking a break from one another to ring in 2016. Home of house music and RTT headquarters Chicago gets royal treatment this year, and something of an interesting and different lineup. Slated to headline an Reaction NYE are Skrillex and Deadmau5, and as this bill trickles out, including Cherub, Chi town native Chance the Rapper, the Floozies, and Run the Jewels, it is beginning to look as though the Windy City is the move for NYE. And yes I do mean Sonny and Joel. Despite recent internet beef, the two are known long time colleagues. Plus, we should know by now the only name that matters when it comes to massive events such as these that the only name that really matters is benjamin.

It will take a few for fans such as myself to make it to Chicago this NYE, but this two-day event will prove to be a solid move to say goodbye to 2015. Some of the RTT squad will be in attendance fo sho. We will keep you posted as more details arise, and hopefully we can all rock our snapbacks and countdown from ten together in what will be an epic NYE.
