UZ Shares His Remix of 18 Year Old R&B Artist Gia

The masked trap legend UZ just dropped off his latest hit, a remix of rising R&B singer Gia. His killer percussion and wonderful synths dance playfully around Gia’s beautiful vocals. Here’s what UZ had to say about the remix:

“I decided to write around Gia’s vocal. For the intro I sampled the plucked sound used in the original and played it with an arpeggiator. On the drop I sampled the vocal and then I wrote a funky 808 bass pattern and added my signature hi-hats.”
