During the Full Flex Tour in Canada last month, Diplo and Skrillex stopped into Arcade Fire’s studio on a day off in Montreal. Pictures from their outing were posted to twitter.

In their recent interview with Charlie Rose on PBS, Diplo and Skrillex opened up about their day in the studio with Arcade Fire. In the session, everyone jammed on live instruments. Just 45 minutes and they made an album’s worth of material. Diplo and Skrillex were sent the files, and the have begun to cut them down and edit down the loops. Diplo said that he plans on returning to Montreal to record some vocals and get the rest of what he needs, but it sure sounds like they will be releasing some music with Arcade Fire at some point in the future.
It was interesting, because all of this was in the context of their process of creating a track from beginning to end. Also interesting because a Jack Ü, Arcade Fire collaboration sounds awesome. Watch the interview in its entirety, here:
