Remixing GRiZ is no simple task – but a challenge that Buku welcomed with open arms.

For our latest Run The Trap Premiere we have Buku putting his own dark twist on GRiZ’s “For The Love” from his newest Say It Loud  album.

Buku makes sure to keep some of GRiZ’s gorgeous, organic intro in tact along with some of Talib Kweli‘s lyrics before unleashing a looming breakdown that’ll make you say, “Wow, Buku really is that dude!” He injects his dark trap twist about a a minute into the song and doesn’t look back. The booming bass drum and twanging percussion breathes a brand new life into the song making it a unique Buku creation without forgetting its GRiZ roots.
