In a recent interview with NME, Flume speaks on the progress of his long awaited Sophomore album. It’s been nearly 3 years since his self titled masterpiece dropped, and I know his fans (me included) are eagerly awaiting a new album of the same caliber of the previous release. He’s already set a high bar for himself, and its apparent in the interview that he isn’t rushing anything and wants this next album release to be as amazing as possible.
“I just feel like there’s a few things missing… but it’s so close”
Harley also mentions that the album has a variety of collaborations with “unknown dudes and really well-known dudes,” all of which is still a secret at this point. He also mentions that he “plans to move to LA for a few months to finish the rest of the album up”. Until then the best we can do is check him out live for some snippets of the new material and hope to catch some videos and clips as he continues to play new tracks out. He’s also been keeping us pre-occupied with the release of some minds, and his most recent collarbones remix.
