Yesterday Killer Mike and El-P aka Run The Jewels took to instagram to announce they would be hosting a regular radio show (called ‘WRTJ‘) on Apple Music‘s new Beats 1 Radio to stream every Friday starting at 9 PM EST. This announcement comes right on the tail of Soulection revealing they too would now be syndicating their radio show with Apple Music.
This is why Apple hired Jimmy Iovene. The man has been acquiring the finest talent in the music industry for decades and now Apple is making damn sure to give its user-base some serious value and a reason for everyone to at least be curious enough to start a free 3-month trial…
