PREMIERE: DOUCHKA - Joyful

Nowadays Records is home to some of the most forward-thinking sounds across the pond and their latest EP from artist Douchka is no different. Alongside label mates such a Everydayz, Phazz and Fakear, the young producer quickly made a name for himself in 2013 with his full-length debut project, Yuv’In. Since, DOUCHKA has completed the Red Bull Music Academy in Tokyo in 2014 and played at the Pitchfork and The Sound You Need festivals in Paris. He is currently in the midst in the midst of crafting a live set for creating original tracks in real time while prepping his latest project.

Today, the French-based producer is here to announce what he’s been working so hard on — a brand new EP with Nowdays Records, Joyful. While the full EP is still a couple weeks away, you can get a taste of the EP with it’s title track “Joyful”. The track starts off with wavy synths and a collection of others sounds as it builds before ushering in a triumphant feeling thanks to the powerful synths, vocal samples and drums implemented.
