You hit me right in the feels with this one. How is it that such a popular and successful musician is able to tap into such a deep, intimate loneliness? How are we able to connect so well from half-way across the world? You, with your own barber shop…. me, living above my mom’s garage with no record deal. And yet here you are, perfectly embodying these complex emotions with your music again. I know that these are Songs To Make Up To but man, this really doesn’t feel like making up… It feels… complicated.
