If you follow Diplo on twitter at all you should know by now that the Mad Decent bossman isn’t exactly afraid to speak his mind. Whether it be getting himself into misogynistic trouble or feuding with Taylor Swift and Lorde, for better or worse Wesley Pentz constantly finds himself in the media spotlight. Most recently, Diplo expressed his disapproval of Zedd’s second studio album True Colors. Since its drop fans have complained that the pop heavy and mainstream geared record didn’t live up to Zedd’s Freshman effort Clarity. Apparently Diplo feels the same way, as his now-deleted tweets show below. Do you agree with Diplo? Did he go too far in throwing shots at a fellow producer? Did Zedd deserve it? nope i dont think so, i think he is mad because diplo try different styles for the future of edm , and Zedd is more the guy how do what we want, in his own style but dont try to change anything to edm. thats why i think diplo is mad at the new zedd"s album

Totally agree with Diplo. As much as I respect Zedd's "far superior" musical talent than my own and most people, to me it just came off as an extremely cheesy album granted, most "EDM" in the newly labled pop sense is cheesy. What happened to the funk? Are we doomed to forever hear EPIC TRANCE sounding strings and pads along with big room electro farts? Gimme some different sounds! Hell he even took the funk out of Aloe Blacc!
