We have some layered news to share regarding the most famous three letters in dance music. ZHU has by now been identified as Steven Zhu, and is undoubtedly one of the most talented singer/producers that music has ever seen. He recently released this video for his track entitled, “Cocaine Model,” which was shot during NYC Fashion Week. It goes so much deeper than those skins and cloths captured in the clips. They’re colored and distorted, mixed with imaged displaced and giving the video a real trippy feel. The same feel we get when we listen to the music of mystery man Zhu.
He gives life to the phrase in the intro, “Beauty is eternal.”

Although we know who he is, this talented act remains something of a mystery to us, just like the ID he dropped at the end of the video for, “Cocaine Model.” Zhu changes it up at the end with an unknown track that sounds just as good as the last. He always gives us what we want right back, and this teaser is just another piece of the puzzle that is Zhu.
For now, the final piece is that he will be making his debut on BBC Radio 1, dropping by their studios for an infamous ‘After Hours’ mix hosted by legend Pete Tong. The announcement was posted on his Facebook yesterday.
