5 BBHMM Remixes You Should Be Listening To

Back in the day, the radio and cassette tapes were our means of listening to music. We used this term for songs that got too much air time, or were so good they ruined the tape so that it sounded like one of today’s remixes, but not intentionally. Played out is what we used to say.

In today’s day and age, it seems there is no such thing as the term played out. Popular songs seem to get more and more play, and are eventually remixed by every artist from here to Australia and back again. In honor of not being played out, we have chosen our  favorite BBHMM remixes for y’all.

Instead of dying out after being played too much, it seems a track these days just grows in size and intensity. Some of us live in the future, predicting what music will blow up and that which will never see the light of day. Walmer Convenience knew very well this day would come. He knew this track would be huge.

If you literally live under a rock, or somewhere so deep in the forest that you don’t know the acronym BBHMM stands for, “Bitch Better Have My Money,” and is the title of an unplayed out Rihanna song, then keep sleeping. The past month or so has been an onslaught of these bad bitches, and we all know Rihanna is reigning queen of that troupe.

Bitch Better Have My Money (Gent & Jawns Remix) | Free Download

Billy the Gent and his jawn piece have done it again. Known for one of the most famous drops in trap history, from their epic track “Turn Up,” this BBHMM remix does not disappoint. It follows suit, giving us a spin on Rihanna that has us feeling spun. What they do to her vocals at the end are reminiscent of what Branchez does to her voice in his remix of “Stay,” and we are the opposite of complaining about it.

Rihanna – Bitch Better Have My Money (GTA Remix) | Download

They are GTA, and they claim death to genres, even though they run the trap pretty hard. It isn’t about that for them, and also not about the trends, which is why we fux with them so hard. As hard as all of this is, this remix easily goes against all of the above-mentioned things about GTA. Doesn’t mean they don’t kill it on this remix.

These two acts teaming up on this one is a slam dunk. LUCA LUSH’s smooth sound mixed with the snazzy tracks of brass that the aptly named duo has been spitting out, remixing one of the hottest songs on the market right now, if not the hottest. Is anyone else about to quote Nelly? The funk and jazz on this remix gives it a silliness that has me in giggles, but also makes me want to take off all my clothes because got damn, it is getting hot in here.

Bitch Better Have My Money (DOM DIAS REMIX) | Free Download

Toronto’s own premiered this track on Walmer, and it is one of the best of these BBHMM remixes. This one packs some serious hear, like the gun clocks are Rihanna’s finger on the trigger, and she is coming directly for your money, so don’t act like you forgot. Dom Dias skillfully isolates the vocals and uses them so advantageously, giving them a kick and a snare with instrumentals also not to be forgotten. It’s like club plus trap with a little dancehall influence and quite frankly, he kills this remix.
