Mad Decent Block Party Trailer Released

As we all know from the monster all-in-one lineup released about a month ago, Mad Decent Block Party will be returning to a very many select cities this summer. Lineups vary per location, but each one is stacked with variations of the BEST in not only dance music, and this party is one guaranteed to be one of the best of the summer, regardless of your locale.

Mad Decent is like the renaissance man of record labels. Many labels/collectives/groups/troupes wear many, many hats in this age of slap a name on it and act as if you are a professional in a great amount of skill sets. It is safe to say though, that Diplo and the Mad Decent family wear all of them, and wear them as fly a Pharell, the only known man to pull off every type of hat ever made.

Diplo could do that though. He can pretty much do anything, like ever, as the record has shown. The literal records he used to spin, and the written one of his bankroll these days, or even just one written agreement for just one show with him as a headliner. The history of the label and of his parties are a faraway bellow from his days of White Tees White Belts, Hollertronix and what not; the original Mad Decent Block Parties in Philadelphia, that were actually on a street block in North Philly, and didn’t cost a dime to attend.

Now here we are, making movie trailers for summer shows or as this year is turning out to be for MDBP, a mini festival. This trailer is set to Major Lazer’s, “Night Riders,” which alone would get you hype for this summer’s MDBP extravaganzas. Knowing though that you are a rider, the content contains mad jumping and footage of the artists you are dying to see do silly thing on stage with each other.
