Jhené Aiko – Comfort Inn Ending (OZZIE 2013 Edit)

Who doesn’t love the voice of Jhene Aiko? Euphonious music to the ears. What happens when you take that tone out of the treble clef and give it some serious bass? Sweet sounds go dark and become a different kind of romantic.

In this original, Aiko is harsh to begin with, her voice and its accompanying instrumentals bitter and dark. There is a prominent guitar that cuts like machete. Ozzie grabbed hold of that darkness in this featured edit, and made the track completely over. Dark goes even darker. This edit becomes his. It is owned by him, and that sweet Aiko sound we know so well disappears into the shadows that are this British producer.

For those of you sleeping on Ozzie, he is Hucci‘s brother, and the two go together like all the nonsense in that song from Grease. Their sounds are similar, except Ozzie seems to put a bit more romance into his music, which makes the ladies super swoon. Get ready for this one, as there is some anger and revenge mixed into this edit of a not-so-love-song. Ozzie nails this edit, and had this to say about it:
