The worlds of ‘classic’ rock and EDM don’t cross paths very often. Each demographic is so different that even when they do, sometimes people just get more confused than anything.
Skrillex seemed to find success in the crossover when he went into the studio with the remaining members of The Doors and recorded ‘Breakin’ A Sweat’ so who am I to say that it can’t be done?
Diplo took to instagram and posted a picture with the unforgettable voice and front man for one of the greatest bands in Rock and Roll History, Robert Plant, the lead singer of Led Zeppelin. The picture is just a ‘selfie’ of the two musicians, both displaying little smirks with the caption: ‘Collab Coming Soon.’ It’s funny how three little words can get everyone talking.
So now we wait. Was this a post-studio session picture? Or just Robert Plant smiling for a picture with a fan wanting to have fun on the internet?
