Our newest premiere is coming at you from a production duo out of San Diego. They call themselves Haterade and you get a first listen at their debut EP, ‘The Halftime Show’ right here on RTT.
This three track EP will give you an idea of the kind of music you can expect from Haterade in the future; showcasing versatile techniques across trap bangers and a smooth future bass original. ‘
Backup’ sets the tone with a looming intro followed by a trap drop that has the perfect amount of brass sprinkled in to give you that ‘boom’ feeling. ‘Paper’ gives you about thirty seconds to catch your breath before you start rapping along with the song. The vocal intro is reminiscent of GTA’s ‘Hard House’ and it works perfectly. Haterade slows it down with ‘805’ and proves they can make more than bangers. ‘805’ has a perfect vocal line done by ‘Lis’ that will make you want to memorize the words and is the perfect cornerstone to this fantastic debut EP.
A note from the dudes:
We bring high energy trap music to the dance music culture, with original works and our twist on classic tunes. Expect to see us more and more, we are busy working on a ton of new material for our fans and potential new fans this year and we expect to be making it to more stages across the country in the coming months. We are Haterade and our mission is music.
