It’s going to be a wild one tonight at Low End Theory at The Airliner Bar in Los Angeles… after two days of the most torrential rain the city has seen in years with no signs of slowing, Daddy Kev aka DK4Prez is putting on what looks to be the show of the year with performances by Mr. Carmack, Great Dane, Penthouse Penthouse, Swindle and of course residents DJ Nobody, GLK, D-Styles, LA’s resident MC Nocando, and of course the man himself, leader of the Alphapups, Papa K.

I’m wet just thinking about how early I’ll have to arrive and how long the line is going to be but at a mere 400 person capacity (small enough to have hosted a number of my own performances), tonight is guaranteed to be an intimate show unlike anything that could ever happen outside the small but ultimately dedicated community the Low End crew and the LA beat scene has managed to forge over the last few years. If you can manage the rain and the traffic and the line… a great reward awaits… we’ve got it pretty good here.

To get everyone hyped, the homie Great Dane cooked up a beat with Promnite, a deep trappy number that seems to go well with the weather we’re having.
