Red Bull and Baauer’s documentary “Searching For Sound” has been very well received ever since it came out less than 2 weeks ago. In the documentary Baauer goes around the world with his friend Nick Hook collecting rare and unique samples to use in his album. Since the documentary came out, there have been fans calling for one of the tracks used in the movie to come out, and even asked him about it during his reddit AMA.
He told us the track was called ‘Tokyo Temple’ and today it got a release exclusively through Red Bull’s website. The song utilizes a collection of samples Baauer and Nick gathered whiled visiting various places around Japan. When you listen to the track, you can hear the Eastern influence and how it helped shape Baauer’s thought process when making it. You can stream Baauer – Tokyo Temple below and we will let you know once it get’s an official release.
