Red Bull and Baauer have teamed up to give us a 26 minute documentary about Baauer traveling around the world in search for new and exotic sounds to use on his album. After becoming an overnight sensation when his single “Harlem Shake” went viral, Baauer seeks to break away from this label to introduce the world to what he is truly capable of.
He and his friend Nick Cook travel all over the world from Japan to the United Arab Emirates collecting sounds from rare instruments, people chanting, and even a camel. You can see the cultural history and how music has impacted these people from around the world as well as get some insight into the mind of one of the top producers out there. This documentary is a must watch for any producer or fan of music so take the time out of your day and enjoy this really cool insight into the history of music.
