We’ve got some heat coming at you for our newest premiere. This time Willy Joy teamed up with Buku to bring us ‘Sting.’ The first track off their forthcoming ‘Leaner and Meaner’ EP which will be out for free download next month. In addition to the EP release, the two will be hitting up 13 cities together over the course of the next three months, aptly named ‘The Leaner and Meaner Tour.’

When you combine forces with Willy Joy and Buku, whose production talent spans between a few genres, it is no surprise that ‘Sting’ hits as hard as it does. ‘Sting’ leads with a looming intro into a drop that is dominated by a rolling bassline that almost buzzes through the entire track. ‘Sting’ combines bass, snares and hi-hats into a track that pushes all sorts of boundaries. I expect this one to go off when it’s dropped live.
