‘Cerebral Eclipse’ the highly anticipated album from Chicago based producer Manic Focus has finally been released. It boasts collaborations with names such as Griz, Dominic Lalli and even some verses from fast rising rapper ProbCause.

The ten track album begs for multiple listens. Each track is laced with intricate sound design and beautifully chopped up vocals that reveal themselves layer by layer after each close listen. Each sound is perfectly placed within the album with a purpose, and as you listen, each sonic layer is revealed, giving you Cerebral Eclipse in its entirety.

From the rolling synth line on ‘We Can Fly’ to the distorted vocal sample on ‘Trail Blazin’ Manic Focus has set himself up for success with his newest 10 track release.

Manic Focus didn’t slow down at all in 2014, and I don’t expect him to look back one bit in his huge upcoming 2015.
