Californian beauty BANKS has her fans drowning in remixes made by quite a few heavy hitters while still begging for more, which many more producers are ready and willing to dish out. Being that producers and DJs from all over tend to gravitate towards remixing already-beautifully packaged tracks, it’s no surprise that there are more than a handful of renditions to the melodic and r&b-influenced songstress’ work. From “Drowning” to “Begging for Thread”, Soundcloud users can find an array of remixes from feel-good house to mind-bending future bass. We’ve hand-selected two remixes–one of each track–that out of them all should definitely be in every BANKS fan’s “recently liked” list.
BANKS recently reposted a cinematic remix to her “Drowning” by the Parisian craft maker, STWO. Currently touring with Snakehips, STWO is known for his heart-warming style, which he nonchalantly displays with the use of 808’s, some incredibly mastered drums, and spotless synths. This remix starts off so majestic, truly a perfect fit for the godess that BANKS is.

Then, we have Gryffin & Hotel Garuda taking it to the house with their remix to “Begging for Thread”. NYC-based producer Gryffin laces the track with his soulful vibes, while collaborating with Hotel Garuda’s–made up of Manilla Killa and Candle Weather–impressive arrangement of drums. The end result is a beautifully mastered, feel-good remix.

There are just too many out-of-this-world remixes, that we can only hope BANKS decides to put together a remix EP/album/mixtape/playlist… SOMETHING. We’re literally drowning for one.
