Up-and-coming Boston-based producer Durkin comes through with the latest Run The Trap Premiere edition, as he drops off his own impressive rendition of Sammy Bananas’ “Money Time.” The original tune features Fool’s Gold Records veteran Sammy Bananas collaborating with Antony and Cleopatra on a deep-end inspired after-hours house cut. The original mix incorporates creative vocal work and a funky shuffle to it, and Durkin flips that all upside down with a grimy trap-bred rework.

Adding a thick roll of deep drum kicks and crisp hi-hat arrangements around the tune’s infectious hook, Durkin leverages tasty hip-hop elements to give his remix its own bopping rhythm. Chopping up the vocals and lacing in modified synth layers, Durkin adds a sexy, sinister disposition to Sammy Bananas’ party-primed house groove.
