We got our first taste of Knife Party’s latest single “Boss Mode” at the beginning of August when Rob Swire uploaded a preview to his Soundcloud. Today, exactly one month from the release of Knife Party’s highly anticipated album Abandon Ship’s release date, the duo uploaded the full version of Boss Mode to their Youtube page. The trap inspired track shouldn’t come as any surprise to Knife Party fans as their new album is supposed to be an array of diverse tracks that highlight their musicianship. That was actually pretty good… until the drop.
I disagree. "Slightly different" made me laugh right off my chair,
Crystal Shepard Don't get me wrong, I love trap. Kai Wachi, Aero Chord, Apashe, RL Grime, all amazing. This drop sounded like the stuff that came out right when trap started. One sub hit, and a bunch of whiny high end leads… meh. I'm pretty sure the album is gonna be killer but I can't pretend to like something because it's in. Not sure what you meant about "slightly different" though?
