Grandtheft has been a remix machine lately pumping out remixes of Katy Perry, Schoolboy Q, and of course his remix of Calvin Harris’ “Summer” that he did with his buddy Diplo. Most recently he got tabbed to put his spin on T.I. and Iggy Azalea’s track “No Mediocre”, the lead single off of T.I.’s forthcoming album.  Here’s what he had to say about his newest remix:

“When I was asked by Sony to remix “No Mediocre,” my instinct was to take this great club rap song and flip it, similar to my Drake “0-100” bootleg.  My remix of T.I. and Iggy Azalea maintains their verses and chorus but adds my 808 drums and some heavy, heavy synth lines.”
