PREMIERE: Wuki - Hot (Buku Remix)

It’s no secret that we’re huge fans of Wuki, Buku and Astronomar‘s Main Course label so naturally its an honor to be able to premiere this Buku remix of Wuki’s most recent track on the label, Hot. The remix comes as part of Wuki’s debut EP on Main Course which will be available through iTunes on September 16th as the Hot / Talk EP .

Buku’s flip of Hot is an absolute weapon for the dance floor. The tight, clean production and driving rhythm lend the track plenty of energy and I’m particularly fond of the vocal chops– especially how Buku uses the hard consonants as rhythmic elements (and that whispery “dah!” is so on point). Overall, it’s just a particularly well-executed track with great sounds, plain and simple. 10/10, I’ll be spinning this until the wheels falls off.
