That’s right, Clockwork’s trap orientated alter-ego RL Grime announced via youtube by releasing a very robocop-esque video that his debut album is coming THIS November.
RL Grime was one of the first to the scene dropping the new style of “trap music”, and helped form the wave into what we are seeing today.. His remix of ‘Mercy’ he produced with Salva was played by DJs around the world of every genre. His recent collaboration with What So Not, ‘Tell Me‘, has made its way well around the Summer festival circuit, and the first track off the VOID album Core has amassed over 1 million plays in less than a month.
I personally cannot wait to see what RL Grime decides is good enough to be released on a full length album. Being a producer with such versatility gives him so much room to work with. Queue excitement.
