You guys are in for a treat today, we’ve got a dope new collaboration project from two stellar producers; and what better way to get it poppin’ off than this 2 Chainz – I’m Different (LION KNGS Remix)? LION KNGS is the collaboration of Team Supreme members King Henry & Tk Kayembe. In November of 2012 the two co-produced a TeamSupreme beat together, thus spawning the project. Since then, they have been writing songs by sending stems back and fourth from LA to CO and vice versa.

The LION KNGS project is heavily inspired by a mixture of Dirty South Rap and 90’s and early 00’s R&B. They seek to emulate the sultry passion and joyful danceability of that “golden age,” creating beautiful and heavy music that both moves you and makes you want to move. It’s obvious when listening to this 2 Chainz remix that they do just that, bringing in some trap music elements with other melodic and somewhat tribal-inspired sounds (and it works together so well).
