The homie Brillz just uploaded stems and a tutorial teaching how to make the synth used on his track Ratchet Bitch. If you own a copy of Ableton Live and the Massive vst by Native Instruments, Brillz provides and drums and knowledge to help you recreate Ratchet Bitch exactly as he made it. Brillz makes for an excellent teacher, outlining each process and what it does step-by-step and avoiding a lot of technical jargon that gets confusing and boring to the hobbyist producer. I was particularly amused by his workflow; every producer seems to have their own way of going about things and you can tell that Brillz’ process is colored by his experiences with older technology, quirky evidence of a well-traveled producer. I feel like this tutorial is akin to the old Rusko dubstep tutorial in its honesty and simplicity and really is a must-watch for anyone starting out trying to make this kind of music.
So if you’re feeling real crafty, pirate purchase a copy of ableton live and massive and download yourself that Dada Life Sausage Fattener (use that google-machine) and give it a shot! Who knows? Maybe you’re the next UZ? Maybe you’re the current UZ. Very sneaky.

This post really is trying to promote piracy in music production, not a good thing.

I'm sorry, but that lead synth is my least favorite part of the tune, and the least helpful to learn. Please Brillz, talk about your drums, talk about your subs, talk about your mixing. Basic sawtooth synths aren't hard. XD If anything, show us that lead from your Roots remix… Still digging that…

There’s no end to what you can do using Dr. Drum’s all-in-one beat maker. Dr. Drum has a beat for any genre, and thousands of sound choices in its database.
You can choose from many different drum styles and edit them all on the 12-рad kit on the easy to use interface. If that isn’t enough, imрort your own sounds with one click and turn them into рolished tracks.
