Tag-team trap heroes Flosstradamus are known for bringing the grimiest, most bombastic sounds to the spectrum, locking hip-hop and trap sounds together unlike any other force out there. Cranking out some of the hardest party-primed, crowd-rattling selections around, the Chicago-bred twosome never cease to keep the party going. From festival stages to packed club dance floors, nobody has been safe from the HDYBYZ trap anthem of the year, “Mosh Pit.” A track designed to turn anywhere it is played into a steamy sauna of rowdy bouncing and bumping, “Mosh Pit” is now getting heavy remix treatments from an all-star roster of producers who deliver their own fresh spins on Floss’ arena-shaking jam.
Party Favor and Meaux Green join forces in warping “Mosh Pit” into a high-octane heater. Layering in some spastic sample work, and incorporating some clean vocal cuts by Casino from the original mix, Favor and Green turn the energy up ten fold in their rendition. The modified second break is a head-spinning cap to an impressive rework, perfect to tear the roof off of any house party.
Headhunterz delivers a much different perspective with a dark yet throbbing electro treatment. Retaining a lot of the originals hi-hat rolls and vocal cuts, Headhunterz takes “Mosh Pit” to a whole new place with a stomping remix, complete with a buzzing waves of bass and creative sample selections sprinkled in.
Last on the remix collection’s lineup is Caked Up‘s certified rump-shaker rework. The up-and-coming Mad Decent players step up with a rendition that’ll make you double take, right before you decide you can’t help yourself anymore and find the nearest wall to twerk on. A heavy build with whirling synth work is followed by a distorted sample and a thumping break. Beefing up the drum work from the original, along with some other keen modifications, Caked Up showcase some serious skill warping vocal cuts into melodies on this absolutely filthy remix effort.
The collection also features instrumental and acapella versions of the original Floss record, rounding this stacked remix package off perfectly. Check out the streams below and enjoy. Just don’t bump these too loud or else you might have a full blown riot erupt in your living room, you’ve been warned.
