Chance The Rapper‘s come up is near complete. In a February story of GQ, Chance spilled some exciting news about his unnamed debut album. The young star himself has convinced J. Cole, Andre 3000 and Frank Ocean to jump on board, plus whoever he may keeping close to his vest. Unfortunately, at this time, that is all the information available about his debut album, but this news alone is exciting enough.
Chance has had a big past couple years. He dropped his Acid Rap mixtape that included features from fellow Chicagoan Twista, Action Bronson, Ab-Soul, Childish Gambino and launched him into the national spotlight. He also put the local scene on his back by inviting Saba (Pivot) and longtime friend Vic Mensa to jump on the tape as well. He even collaborated on a track with pop superstar Justin Bieber. Possibly most important of all, he helped Chicago reach a 42 hour period of no violence with his #SaveChicago campaign.
As for now, there is now information as to when we can expect to hear Chance’s debut album, but check back with us for updates. For now, we wait…
