For those of you who are unaware, Mood Good is the solo project belonging to Eddie Jefferys, one half of the ever-famous 16bit. After much delay on the release of his highly anticipated, self-titled debut album, he’s finally announced that it will be released “worldwide on June 2nd on MTA and June 3rd on OWSLA.” In the meantime, he’s graciously giving away this remix of Slum Village‘s Fall In Love and let me tell you… this remix goes hard… Very, very hard. Like, break **** on your desk, don’t need coffee status. It’s really quire reminiscent of the early golden days of dubstep before the massive talking bass took over. Needless to say, this is added to my “heavy rotation” folder.
