Minneapolis producer, Vaski, releases a brand new track titled “The Nile” through SMOG records. This is definitely a unique song. It has a chill hip-hop feel with ambient sounds and just the right amount of dub. Also has a bit of an island/reggae vibe to it.

Vaski explains how this tune came to life…

I came up with the original idea for The Nile while sitting outside at a coffee shop in the summer of 2012. The weather was perfect and there was a giant fountain next to me. It was one of the easiest songs to name, because after I had the groove of the song down, all I could think of was sitting on a boat in ancient Egypt, floating down the nile. This song takes me places, its been a long time in coming, and I’m so glad I can finally share it with you today.
