Big Boi Confirms No New Outkast Album On The Way

There is a ton of hype around Outkast right now and in a recent interview with Revolt TV, when asked about a potential new Outkast album Big Boi told them:

“No, no, no. We’re just doing the tour only, just for the fans. That’s all it is, just the tour.”

While it is great and exciting that they’re putting together this tour of over 40 festivals to celebrate their 20th anniversary, I’m sure all their fans out there would really enjoy some new music from the hip hop duo.  That being said, Big Boi as well as Andre 3000 have LPs that are going to drop this year that Outkast fans can look forward too.

In the rest of the interview, Big Boi also talked about an upcoming Game of Thrones inspired mixtape that he as well as Common, Wale, and more will be featured on that should be dropping in the next few weeks.  This might not be the news Outkast fans were looking for, but I don’t think anyone will complain too much.
