After much anticipation, Eminem and Rihanna finally got together and created jaw dropping visuals for the smash hit “The Monster.” Em takes it back and revisits his most iconic music videos, like the Elton John featured live performance of “Stan,” “Lose Yourself” and “The Way I Am,” re-rapping The Monsters lyrics to the older scenes. As well as reliving some of his darkest moments within the limelight, flashing back through a montage of everything from prescription pill abuse, to a young Slim with Kim and their daughter.
Watching the video adds an entirely new dimension to the song, and leaving you with a surprise ending that, in true Eminem form, gives you a little glimpse into the complex mind that is Marshall Mathers.
