Out of the UK, Shackles drops off a five minute mini-mix preview for his upcoming EP, ‘Out Of My Mind’, being released December 23 through Hot Mom USA. The EP consists of three tracks (tracklist is below) and the preview gives us a good idea of what to expect. Lots of hip-hop influence is demonstrated through the preview, tracks filled with bass, trap snares and hip-hop vocal samples. His UK influence also shines through with the echoed, metallic sounds giving it a bit of a grunge feel. He has released the first track in full, titled ‘Move’. A few months ago, Shackles quietly released a track with a bootlegged Nicki Minaj verse and a Trinidad James sample and it is a banger. Titled ‘I Love A Hood Bitch’, its full of constant chord progression, relentless bass and plenty of trap snares and this song will definitely keep you thuggin’.
