Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re no stranger to the UK based brothers Disclosure. Coming off of their unreal debut album ‘Settle‘, and an overall massive year in dance music, it’s only right that they top it all off with their Disclosure – BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. During the intro of their Essential Mix, the speak briefly on how they started hitting the clubs, and how the legendary J.Dilla has been a huge influence for them.

The  2 hour mix starts out with a 15 minute tribute to J.Dilla and the Detroit  hip hop scene itself, then goes into house, techno, garage, and some American hip hop as well. The mix also features brand new music from Breach, Friend Within, New York Transit Authority and Dusky. Disclosure mentions in the beginning of the mix how they like to showcase all of the different types of music they enjoy in their DJ sets, and they do just that for their 2 hour Disclosure – BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.
