At only 18 years of age, the Cinematic Music signee Joey Bada$$ is slowly making 2013 his year. The member of the hiphop family Pro Era is on fire as of late, being announced as one of XXL Magazines ‘2013 Freshmen Class.’ He has now released his second mixtape ‘Summer Knights’ , up for free download. It has been a little over a year since his first solo release “1999,”but has kept busy perfecting his style of unorthodox rhyme schemes and intelligent punchlines by collaborating with the likes of fellow Indie artist Mac Miller, Smoke DZA, and Big K.R.I.T. and released some mixtapes with Pro Era.
