Jimmy Kimmel made one of the most pondered, unanswered questions regarding rap music clear to the masses yesterday. Kimmel begins his bit by stating the obvious: sometimes rap songs incorporate raunchy, filthy lyrics. Correct. Sometimes rappers write lyrics that are less than church-appropriate, but who really gives a shit? Then, things take an interesting turn as Jimmy really gets into it. Kimmel brings up the million dollar question, “What do their mothers think of this?”, and suddenly I am hooked. I found myself wondering the exact same thing. I know mothers like to brag about their sons’ accomplishments and accolades, but can the mother of a famous rap star really brag about their son’s unparalleled lyrical talent? Well, thanks to Jimmy Kimmel, the question was answered and what ensued was hilarious.

Jimmy Kimmel got in touch with G.O.O.D. Music rap superstar Big Sean and employed the help of Sean’s mother to answer the big question on a segment called Words From Your Mother. Kimmel has Big Sean’s mother read the lyrics to the radio’s favorite rap song, Dance (A$$), on his show. Accentuated by a background video of some ladies dancing the finest twerk in all the land, or as Kimmel puts it, “juggling in their pants”, Big Sean’s mother poetically delivers her son’s lyrics in a way that would make her boy proud.
